Well, im trying to float the idea of 2 pemi loops in 24 hours but not sure how well it's sitting. It's a thought at least.

Jason

Oh, sure... then it will be a double hut traverse, and before you know it, you'll be yo-yoing the AT...

WOW.

No really, WOW.

I don't know which is more impressive, what you guys hiked/ran, or the photos you took...

Simply amazing.

Thanks

Pace is like a color or frequency. Who's to say which color is better or more beautiful......

Well put! Each person has their own preference, which works best for them.

You guys are amazing! I can't imagine doing what you've done, but I'm really glad you have so much fun doing it! :)

Wow Guys way to cruise.

I'd love to know what you eat during an outing like that....if you don't mind !

Tim and Jason, correct me if I'm wrong, but Jason brought pasta at the halfway mark. Tim had pizza and I had turkey sandwhiches. During the hike there were some cliffshots, probars, other granola bars, trail mix consumed. Some coffee and hot chocolate at the top of washington. Water is mixed with electrolyte powders of different kinds. Olive oil for boosting fat burning process is risky due to stomach can go haywire. I also eat electrolyte tablets, multivitamins and kelp tablets. For bars, my favorite is the Lärabar.

Steroids, they've got to be taking steroids.
How about becoming spokemen for No-Doz? I couldn't drive home after 22 hours if I'd been doing crossword puzzles instead of hiking.

Are lutefisk Norwegian? They have a fearsome reputation at family gatherings.

My method for staying awake for the drive home is rolling all the windows down and cranking the music WAY up. If I remember right, "Sonic Temple" by the Cult, and a thermos of cold coffee was the ticket home for me this time.

My "ticket home" was a call to the girlfriend. I was awake for 29 hours then was only able to sleep for 5 hours prior to teh event. I was also awake for almost 8 hours before begining the hike, which ended in being awake for just over 30 hours (6pm saturday-1am Monday). I made it to cannon where i had to make a call for her to pick me up (in Lincoln) as i had to be to work in less than 4 hours (for 5am). I ended up only sleeping 3 hours after the hike, then went and worked a full day. So in the course of the weekend i slept 8 hours (5 hours + 3 hours) from 8am friday morning to some time monday evening (around 7pm). No way i was making it home this time. Usually its any thing to drink or eat that keeps me awake. This time nothing worked!
