If you have ever hauled a pulk across a frozen landscape, you will find this article interesting.

It provides a sort of day-in-the-life of the two guys racing across Antarctica.

What I found interesting is how quickly they and setup and breakdown camp and the strange diet and water habits of each.

One has to set up and break camp down quickly during polar travel. Otherwise one can get dangerously chilled during the interval between the protection of the tent and the heat generation of motion. In nasty conditions a slow transition can be fatal.

Pulling a pulk up any incline can be quite a test of will.

Cool! I note that O'Brady has (what looks like) an MSR white gas stove, and I saw elsewhere he's packing 30 lbs of fuel for the 70 day journey, which amounts to ~7 oz /day. I also note a Hilleberg tent. I can't find any info on Rudd's gear. Good luck to these gentlemen!
