Everest Glaciers Melting Faster

Here's a troubling Reuters piece about what Chinese scientists have been discovering on the Everest glaciers. This does not bode well for the people living in the area, and world water supplies, let alone climbers. On the plus side, the caption on the photo also mentions that Tibetan mountaineers have been cleaning some of the trash off the mountain lately. Not that anyone will be so worried about discarded O2 tanks if lakes start bursting.
