shooting glasses

I use shooting glasses for my safety eye wear, clear Smith and Wesson. I have my sunglasses with extremely wide temples, Smith Optics "black camo" . You only get issued two eyes it's important to protect them. I wear the protection while wood working. I also wear them while operating power equipment such as the leaf blower and weed wacking.

I also use ear protection for the leaf blower. I use the soft ones that go in the outer ear canal. They are connected with a plastic cord. Useful at the race track too, and parking planes...

Pete your lucky to still be able to see the Simpsons re-runs or originals...

These have a pretty decent safety rating:

It's like food poisoning. If it's ever happened to you, you'll do whatever you can to make sure it doesn't happen again. Why take chances?

I think I might over heat a bit with this rig SLB...but thanks for the thought and link. Although I can relate to your analogy of "Food Poisoning".
Being scratched in the eye hurts like all heck; but at the same time it is amazing how quickly it can heal. I'm feeling quite good. I hiked today (12 miles) one week later since my incounter with a stick. Felt Great!

I've always used safety googles (same ones I use for yard work).
I probably won't use them anymore since my wife doesn't allow me to watch The Simpsons.
