Outstanding day in the Whites Saturday - a tadd on the cloudy side, but the company was second to none and just being in the Whites is the best!!!

Both trails to Hancock and So. Hancock are very steap and have an abundance of loose stone and gravel. Caution is needed to watch your footing, especially on the down. Trail maintenace on the loop and trails leading to the loop is awesome though, the trails are wide and clear of blowdowns. We hit the trail about 8:15, made it to the peak by 11:45. Taking turns leading and tailing throughout the day, I brought up the rear on the steap up to make sure everyone made it up safe (ok, ok - truely it was kicking my butt).

Much thanks to Glenn, Deb, Denise, Wendy, Mike, and Bruce for excellent company for the day.
