The Gossamer Gear Ultralight backback looks good for well-maintained trails but seems like it might not hold up well pushing through thick scrub. Has anyone had off-trail experience with it?

Which one?

I have the Mariposa Plus and it has definitely taken abuse far beyond the specs, but I haven't gone for a real spruce-eater with it (and I wouldn't want to). The new Gorilla might be a sturdier bet.
