On Little Santanoni in the Dacks I had a GPS with the summit WP from both NG Topo and from Mapsource (2 different WP's well separated and very obviously not the high point) and I wandered around looking for the highest point and never really knew if I actually found it due to the large flat area with numerous little bumps. I concluded that this enhanced the charm of bushwhacking these lower peaks and underscored why I like hiking them. Getting to the summit can be a total non-event and yet it drives the hike.
