Haven't been up here from north side. Is there trailhead parking off the Kanc? If no, other suggestions with Tripoli closed?

Thanks.

sure is. it's a small parking lot though, and it might be filled, even in winter.

If the Greeley lot is filled (and the winter parking does get tight there, with all the snowbanks), there is also parking for a few cars about a half-mile West on the Kanc, on the South side of the highway. The Greeley XC ski trails start here and they usually plow it wide enough to allow for parking for a few cars, parallel to the Kanc.

It's more like 1/4 mile and it's free, I park there even if real lot is empty

Just up the street (to the east) is the Hancock lot. Unfortunately,to get there on the road, you must defy death in the form of oncoming traffic, a hairpin turn, and a road grade with a double fall-line. Too scary a roadwalk for my book, but it's there.
