The new multi-year Green Mountain National Forest management plan is out. The preferred alternative includes small expansion to existing Wilderness and a new big one at Glastenbury. Strangely the fire tower is specifically exempted. They predict that snowmobilers won't be happy. Like the WMNF, you can read it on the website or request a CD-ROM.
