Hammock Camping-Bugs?- Sat 8/6 King Ravine

Hoping to leave the tent behind tomorrow, and use hammocks as the weather is supposed to be primo. My hammocks are the old fashioned variety without bug netting. How bad are the bugs in the Northern Presi's. Looking at Lowes Path area.

Mosquitos should be the only problem and I've never thought them too bad on Lowes. I would still want to bring my head-net to keep them from buzzing in my ears. I wouldn't want to try it around Greeley or Nancy pond though.
