Not sure if I'll ski, either. I'll have my gear with me, but while $27 is fair for 5 hours, it's a bit much for just a few runs for novelty's sake.

But I will be there and anticipate a beer or two with my name on.

Great fun tonight!

In attendance were:
DaveBear, DaveSunRa, DougPaul, Darlene, Steve-O, Marchowes, MichaelJ, Arm, Kevin, Dauby (?spelling), Mats en-route, somewhere on Rt2, and myself. Hopefully I am not missing anyone!

The Outlook is a fun little place...we need to organize these little gatherings more often! It was great to see everyone and catch up on what everyone has been up to all winter.

Dani, please let us know how the conditions are at Waterville....

Thanks to all for making the newbie feel welcome last night! I entered the dark and forbodeing environment of the Outlook with mild trepidation, thinking that I would wander around muttering "alligator eggs" under my breath until I got acknowledged or escorted to the door! I headed toward the welcome glow of the fireplace, where I found a likely group, and before I could do my egg thing, I was asked if I was looking for the Views crew.

From that point on I had a very enjoyable (but too short) visit with my new friends. Steve-o, thanks for organizing last night. MichaelJ, Una_dogger, ARM, DougPaul, DaveSunRa, Marchowes, Kevin, Darlene.....great to meet you all. Most of you I was familiar with from 'lurking' on the forum, but I'm pleased to have met you all in person, and hope to be able to hike with you sometime. Matts, sorry I missed you, but I promised my wife I would behave and make it a short night.

My only regret is that none of the gang chose to entertain us by performing on the knarly slopes of mighty Nashoba. The Outlook certainly provides a great vftb, but there wasn't much action on the mogul field last night!

It was great fun meeting everyone last night. I enjoyed putting faces to VFTT trail names, and the hiking ideas and stories that were tossed around.

I'm looking forward to hiking with some of you in the near future.

I thought it was a good venue. Nice to able to converse without having to yell at the person next to you.( maybe because it was a tuesday ) I would do it again.
