Hawk Attack at Fenway Park

Attack??

Looks less like an attack than just a girl in the wrong place at the wrong time. That fourth or fifth shot showed a rodent in his talons and did not get enough air or she inadvertantly stood up in front of him. Either way... that had to hurt.

The Globe had to have provoked the attack. How did they just happen to get that perfect picture sequence??!

No, the photographer was just in the right place at the right time. The hawk was perched there for a while before the attack, so they were taking pictures if it already.

The shots with the rodents were taken on a different day. The hawks are constantly feeding on them so there's plenty of opportunity to get photos of that.
