What turned out to be an absolutely perfect day with blue skies and NO wind we were able to finish our quest for Winter 46Rs on Haystack - thanks to everyone on the forum for all the valuable information that helped us with our quest. Micro spikes, snowshoes and crampons for the day. Mostly rock, some ice and snow on summit!!!!

Impressive! I can only imagine how hairy it is to climb back over little haystack on the way back. In the summer is was steep.
