Heck of a long top Rope @ Lake Willoughby VT

This past Saturday some friends and I wanted to get in some ice before it's all out. With the warm weather we decided to head a bit farther North to Lake Willoughby in VT. Have to say it's really an impressive spot. Huge cliffs run straight down to the lake, very beautiful for sure. Didn't get many pictures, we had to keep our attention on the ice due to warm temps causing some ice breaking off.

This is the longest I've ever top roped, my arms are still sore.

very cool. actually cool ! I'm hoping to get 1 or 2 more outings in down here but it's looking doubtful.

Forgot to mention how wet we got, water was just pouring down the ice. We were really glad the Sun was not beaming on us.

did someone lead it first or were you able to climb around ?

Had our super duper climber go solo to set up an anchor.
