The MWO seems to have expanded it by a day.

The extra day on the Mt Wash summits forecast is new to me, but the Mt Wash "outdoor sports forecast" has had longer coverage for quite a while: http://www.mountwashington.org/weather/skinh/

Looks like the NWS summits forcast is still for just one day: http://www.erh.noaa.gov/box/fcsts/PWMRECGYX.html

I noticed that checking the weekend stats! Thats a great help in terms of the general direction the forecast is headed.

This is the earliest AM forecast distributed daily by OBS. Used to be only by fax to collaborative organizations, but now available to all on the web in PDF format usually NLT 3 AM.

Ken Rancourt, the head honcho up on top of the Rockpile, is making sweeping changes to their IT capacity, and we are just in the early stages of seeing his vision. Imagine his discomfort today as their phone lines were down !!!!

That PDF also includes the Vertical Temp Profile from the new remote sensors placed along the Auto Road. Check the time stamp on that info for currency.
