High point 1: Mt. Davis, PA, 3213'. Drove up, wandered around, climbed the tower, read the plaques, took pics of the wind turbines.

H.P. 2: Backbone Mt., Maryland, 3360'. About 1 mile hike each way, with only 700' of elevation gain. Limited views, but a nice chat with a highpointer and fellow 115'er.

H.P. 3: Spruce Knob, WV, 4863', another drive up. A short walk to a stone observation platform. Winds were dead calm, sky clear, visibility was enormous! This was almost a perfect 10!

Over the course of 4 days, we visited 6 brew pubs/breweries, mostly in West Virginia. Thanks to Daniel at Mountaineer Brewing Company for an awesome tour of the facilities!

And, oh yeah, another patch! :D

Congrats on your highpointing trip!

So THAT'S what the views from the top of WV look like! Spruce Knob was completely fogged in when we were there. Actually had to use my compass to navigate from the parking lot to the summit tower!

Great pictures!
