I have put together a 'bird guide' for winter birds in the northeast for an Audubon CBC (already posted under "Trips") I thought it may be of interest because many birds can be identified without binoculars.
They are the most common form of wildlife in the winter. Just stop hiking for a moment or two and they will come. If you are interested email me, the file is too large to post on the BB.
I hope somebody finds it of interest.
