Hiking Ski Areas (Wildcats, Cannon & Tecumseh)

I tried to skin up Sugarbush once and was told no. However, I put my skis back on the rack and then proceeded to walk up. It was great fun glissading back down just after the lifts closed. The patrollers flushed me out as I was doing what felt like 60mph on my backside...

As a season pass holder at WV I can assure you that hiking up the trails is allowed. I’ve seen people on snowshoes, or carry down hill ski.

Indeed, just yesterday I saw folks on snowshoes on the trails at WV.

Sweeeeeeeeet powder. Worth the drive from hell to get there.
