I have seen them, their advantages for carrying and storing are obvious but I can't comment on actually using them.And I was wondering if anyone had seen/tried these? I understand a pair was purchased at the Manchester EMS store this winter.

You would have enjoyed following me Friday. It was so cold and the snow was so firm that my snowshoes sounded like I was dragging a bag full of sleigh bells down the trail.
