In the Whites Jan 3-6

I've got a few days off to start the year and plan to spend Wednesday to Saturday up in the Whites. My plan is to stay at Lyon's and dayhike areas to the north and east of Twin Mountain.

Here's some of the locations I have in mind:

Mt Cherry/Owl's Head - Owl's Head Tr to Martha's Mile

Randolph Hill, inc. Mt Randolph, Mt Crescent, maybe Pond of Safety, Ice Gulch

The Percys - are they accessable from the southeast this time of year?

below treeline in the northern Presis - I've only been on the Valley Way trail to Madison, so have lots of places to explore

Mahoosics - maybe the Cabot Shelbourne area of small peaks

Pine Mtn

Boy Mtn

Old Speck - if the weather is great I might add in this Maine 4Ker

If anyone is interested in any of these hikes let me know and we can try to schedule a date for them

Wed - below treeline redlining in the Northern Presis

Thu - Cherry Mtn/Mt Martha/Owl's Head

Fri - Crescent/Randolph loop

Saturday - Hedgehog and Potash or Shelburne Moriah

anyone interested? Dates can be switched to accomodate others
