I'll be watching the trail conditions forums of course, but if anybody has information on current conditions for the Skookumchuck and/or Osseo trails, can you please either respond to this thread or contact me directly?

Thank you!

When I was on Flume on Saturday, three hikers came up from the Osseo trail. They said it was ok, except the summit cone was quite icy.

Sorry that I am a little late on this, but I did a Osseo/Franconia Ridge/Skookumchuck traverse on Saturday. All trails were broken out and quite icy above treeline. Never wore my snowshoes, but crampons were the choice of the day above treeline. Below treeline was all barebootable. What a day to be out!

Wolfgang, I think I was one of the 3 hikers you met. Myself, Mats, and Ferrisjrf were heading down Flume towards Liberty around 10:00am. Were you the hiker with all of the patches?

Thank you both for your responses - much appreciated!

I hiked the ridge on Sunday, with six other people and a dog. We hadn't heard anything recent about Osseo or Skookumchuck, so we opted for an ascent via Liberty Springs, and a descent via OBP. It was great!

Frodo,

Yep. That was me
