While researching my upcoming walk of the el Camino de Santiago and HRP or Alta Ruta or Pyrenean Haute Route in Spain I happened upon this map. What a nice piece of programming. I though that the OS (Ordnance Survey) maps of the UK were nice, this blows them away.

If you give it a try wait until you zoom in and see what happens.

It looks like there is only one map type at each scale. While the author has made a generally nice set of choices, it would be nice if the user could choose to override the default. I sometimes like different map types depending upon what I am looking for (eg roads vs topography).

It would also be nice if there were a scale bar.
