Is hunting season over in the Adirondacks?

Yup, it's definitely hunting season.

Nat and I were backpacking also in the JBL area this weekend and we ran into a group of 6 hunters on Saturday who were dragging a dead deer back to the Garden.

As it was posted earlier, rifle deer season ends Dec. 7 in the Adirondacks. Parts of the Adirondacks also have a late muzzleloading season that ends Dec. 14.
