is ravine lodge road open?

Does anyone know if the road to the ravine lodge to climb moosilaukee is open for vehicles this weekend? also, is there a way to check the status. I'm sposed to lead a group of nutcase friends up a mountain, and I figure this would be a good mountain to not get them killed on if its open.

The Lodge road usually stays open until after hunting season. Whether it is drivable is another matter. It's one of the last roads to gate.

It was open as of last week. I drove by but not in. The USFS roads are all still open and passable so I assume that Ravine Lodge Road is too.

In general, the USFS defers to Dartmouth about gating that road, so a call to the DOC would probably get you better results.
