Date of hike: March 7, 2012
Conditions: Hard pack with some loose snow up higher.
Equipment: Snowshoes and/or microspikes
Comments: All trails were well broken and packed. The bushwhack began on right shortly after height-of-land open area and joined Isolation south of last river crossings, which were ice bridged. Steve wore snowshoes throughout, while I switched to snowshoes just below the summit spur. Great day and spectacular views. If you want Isolation, the winter hike is the way to go.
