The river was very high (uncrossable) on Saturday evening and the Rocky Branch Trail was a flowing disaster from the height of land down to the river.
On Sunday morning, took the bushwhack up the East side of the river to where the Isolation Trail moves to the East and bushwhacked again (100 yards or so) to avoid the small criss-cross. The trail was very wet and muddy in spots and reasonably firm (not dry) in others. The trail near the Davis Path was very wet except (underwater) at the very end near the campsite. Davis Path was somewhat wet, but reasonable.
The river crossings on the return Sunday afternoon were not easy, but doable with a little hunting for the right spot. The water was down noticably in only 8-9 hours since the rain stopped.
