Some of you are fond of attaching names to stuff that you see, and some of the rest of us like to show off by helping. Here's why it's actually extremely important for us humans and for the planet:

What an interesting story. I love words and enjoy knowing how some things get their names. All I've ever named were kids and pets -- oh, and some nicknames I have given have stuck. Wug is a great term that I'd not heard of before. Thanks for sharing.
