Got the camera last night, charged the battery (have to charge it outside the camera!) and took a shot. the 3" LCD is pretty big, the LCD,as most LCDs is prone to smudges and the LCD image is pretty grainy, which I found odd, but fortunately, the actual pictures aren't. Since I hardly print anything, I have the camera set to the smallest resoluation (M3) at 1600x1200 but even then, that is pretty big for most 17" or smaller monitors... unless I shoot at 640x480.

Didn't take too many photos but I made sure the camera worked and working with my PC, installing the software and drivers..

going to play with more of the features tonight, I took a picture of my cat, Marcy...

Memory is cheap. Set the camera at the highest resolution possible. If you get a shot that your really like there's no way to add back those pixels you are throwing away.

Did I mention that memory is cheap?
