Blowing snow, low visibility, 10F @ 1200' in Franconia, not a great day for travel by foot or wheels. Pity the plumbers, who are still backed up with hundreds of no-heat, no-water calls from this week's deep freeze up here, working 20 hrs a day, including today.

A foot here in Sandown, NH. It's very unstable over the crust and the last storm's snow. On a local hike, I triggered many small avalanches on steep slopes.

Over a foot in a three hour period here in Tamworth.

No kidding! When I left this morning, there was maybe an inch or two on the ground. When I returned this evening, there was 12-18" (hard to tell after wind)! A bit more than the 6" forecast I saw!

There's a good foot of fresh pow the in the Carters (wind makes it anywhere from 0" to 3-4')

6.6" yesterday and another unexpected 4.8" discovered this morning. Makes up for two or three forecast busts the past few weeks. Beautiful. Best powder I've seen since we had enough $ to go to Utah pre-kids... yesterday I had face shots all afternoon in the front yard sledding with my daughter. :D Too bad I can't go play in it today!
