K-9 W48 Finish

Kibo took advantage today of a very favorable Equinox Day forecast to finish her Winter peaks on the summits of Adams (47) and Madison (48).

The Observatory had it spot on with temps in the teens and low/no wind. Other than some lumpiness in the vicinity of Valley Way Tentsite, the trails were perfect. Microspikes car to car with NO postholes.

It was like Old Home Day on Madison as we met a number of past and future trail companions.
Off the trails by 2:15p to snub our noses at the impending Spring hiking season...

I wish I could have been there for another one of Kibo's major accomplishments. I am however, pleased beyond belief to be a part of so many great hikes with you three. She couldn't ask for a better pair of owners.
