While all were sleeping not a sound could be heard,
Coldfeet got dressed and flew out like a bird,

Drove to EMS today with 20% off,
tried on life jackets, wet suits and started to cough,

picked up a paddle and safety gear,
when the phone rang "I'll be home soon dear"

Spent $500 got interest free for a year,
plus 5 $20 coupons but not for beer

I'm in my tub now practicing how to stay afloat,
can't wait until next year to finally buy a boat!

Hey David, bought a boat friday at EMS. Took it out for a while on a cold, windy, reservoir. Did a little fishing and a lot of paddling...I think the fish were smarter than me!

You must have a pretty big bathtub!

So, you bought a paddle and PFD already, but no boat... Maybe you can actually paddle your bathtub... plug the drain hole and maybe install oarlocks... ;)

Spent $500, must be a nice paddle, did you buy a wet suit too?

Jay

Tony, good for u...had to bite the bullet and not buy a boat...20% off and interest free for a year, sticking with original plan of buying used...smart fish...chilly on Friday...tried to call you, will pm..

Jay, I bought a NRS jonny ultra wetsuit, cost after discount $104, got a Aquabound paddle (manta ray?) $160, some type of pdf that I can't remember ($100), a bag of safety things ($100) and some dry bags...u had to spend $500 to get the interest free for the year...All I wanted really was the wetsuit so I could go in April to test boats and a few people told me that I should begin using the same paddle while experimenting...I know that it sounds silly buying these first but I want to get ready, and I can also go to a local pool for $20 (4 hours) and practice paddling and wet exits....will post pics of the tub after 12/17, my SO doesn't know i bought stuff...shhhhh..
