Lazy Hummingbird Sunday

It would have been a perfect day to be hiking in the Whites again yesterday - but we just got back a few days ago. It would have been a perfect day to paddle - and we almost did - except that it was "Governers Bay Day" in RI (free admission to all state beaches) and that means traffic jams everywhere near the water. So instead I sat for several hours in the shade on the deck yesterday morning with the camera and watched two pair of hummingbirds chasing each other, playing "hummingbird tag" and enjoying the trumpet vine. Nice way to spend a lazy summer morning...

Thanks guys. I like the "butt shots" too Kevin. I'd never seem them go all the way into the flower and lay there like that until recently. They're definitely fun to watch.
