They look to me like atmospheric gravity waves moreso than altocumulus undulatus. Hard to tell with such a small patch...I suppose it could also be random chance that looks like a pattern.Wonder what type of clouds these were

Thanks for that link, grouseking. I suspect these two images of a fire tower near the Hudson River and Catskills show examples of altocumulus undulatus clouds. They show the circular ripple wave effect (click for larger images):
