8 total on the trail this pristine saturday past. Two solo (myself and the guy who was first on the trail), a group of 4, and a pair with a dog. Temperatures were about 15F at the trailhead (I started at about 10am) and perhaps felt like 0F with windchill on the ridge. I made the summit last (wind about 20-30mph there at times) at about 2:50pm, crawling through the spiky windshorn trees onto the iced-over rock ledges - fantastic - view all the way to England. I used Snowshoes all the way up and back and felt they were most useful over barebooting or crampons - poles would occasionally go in up to my hands along the sides if I put pressure on them.
