Has anyone been up the North Twin trail recently? My last time up this was in Feb a couple of years ago when the crossings were solidly bridged by ice and snow. We'll go in the usual winter way via 7-Dwarfs.

Jim, although I haven't been up there in a few weeks, given the amount of time I've spent crossing rivers in the Whites during the last week, I would bet you a beer that they will be wide open. The recent thaw and rain reverted the crossings to early November.

Check here for the Ammo's height. http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/uv?site_no=01137500 -- it's about where it was in August when I last crossed the Little River and we skipped the first two crossings because they were a bit sketchy. The third crossing will be doable and there is considerable help if you go upstream by another 50-100 feet to get onto the island, then head downstream and pick up the trail at the end of the island.

Video of said crossing is here: http://outdoors.webshots.com/video/3002587660097994563mBStOS
