Local Hike Along the Big Gunpowder River 4/17/10

In preparing for our trip to Acadia National Park the first week of June we start our "training" by visiting local state parks.
Here is a hike we did on 4/17; which is only about 20 miles from our home.

That brought back some nice memories for me. I grew up in the Baltimore area and spent some time in Gunpowder State Park many years ago. Thanks for sharing your photos!

Nice. This was on my list of hikes to do when I lived in the DC metro area, but I was closer to the Manassas VA area, so I played more over there. Thanks for posting these, it is good to know what it looks like. Maybe some day.....
