Looking for vest recommendations

I have read that dry cleaning will destroy the feathers. Alsosome of these these higher fill vests may have ultralight thin shell material. It wont stand up to thorns or getting bashed often by pine branches.

I haven't used a vest while being active as it is too warm. But my goose down vest is fantastic once I've stopped. It is also good to wear when ice fishing. I never dry cleaned it, only washed it once a year or so depending on how much use it had. The first one I bought in 1973 did wear out and needed to be replaced in 2005 I think it was. The second one is still in great condition. Just don't over wash them and they'll keep you warm for years.
