Does anyone know whether either the Richardson or the Flagstaff are now ice free? I would like to plan a camping trip.

I am planning topaddle sthese lakes in Sept. Please post trip reports. I'd love to read about your experiences; whta are definites esp campsites and what to avoid. Have a great paddle

My friend was paddling Lac Memphremagog the other day north of there, so should be looking good for the other big lakes (though not carved in stone in case there are elevation differences).

Sometimes I just call the local chamber of commerce where I'm going and ask em.
Nice paddling Richardson esp nice before the bugs come out or the season gets busy. I've paddled both but there is lots of Flagstaff I haven't seen. Think there was some nice threads posted here about it last year in particular.

thx

Thank You Spider. I did call the chamber last week and they said it was still frozen. I figured though it might be open now and I have a good chance in 2 weeks. :)
