Folks, I'm not finding much in the Trail Conditions pages so thought I'd ask here...
We are considering a ski trip on the Gorge Brook/CarriageRd/Snapper
loop.
My big question is whether or not the snowfield that traditionally
forms on the South and East sides of the summit cone (between
Carriage Road and Gorge Brook) are still skiable or if snow
has melted down to reveal rocks everywhere.
My second question is what sort of condition the (upper reaches)
of Carriage Rd are in, relative to snow cover enough to ski on.
Lastly, if you have any information on the
conditions of Gorge Brook and Snapper trails, that would be
great too.
Many thanks!
