Date of Hike: 6/13/08
Trail Conditions: Asquam Ridge had a few minor blowdowns, otherwise clear sailing. Beaver Brook had a few serious mud holes but nothing bad. Benton Trail to summit, Carriage Road and Snapper Trails were perfect all around. Great early summer conditions all around.
Special Equipment Required: Sun block! The Carriage Road gets a lot of direct sun. Bugs were out but not biting but that could change any day now.
Comments: Fairly quiet friday on the trails. I saw about 6 people as I ascended and there were maybe a dozen on the summit while I was there. Weather was great but views were fairly hazy. All in all a great day to be out.
