The rescue effort has widened to dogs and grid search for the American missing on Grouse Mountain since last week, according to the CBC report below. (Mental sticky: leave my intinerary next time, every time.)
"VANCOUVER – The search for a missing American tourist on Grouse Mountain will enter a new phase on Thursday.
Rescue teams will use dogs to search the south face of the mountain and a grid search will be carried out over the weekend.
David Koch vanished more than a week ago after taking the Skyride to the top of the mountain. His ticket was never scanned for the return trip and his rental car was found in the parking lot.
Other than being spotted a few times on security camera videotapes, there has been no sign of the 36-year-old Wisconsin man."
