Moriah and Carters 9/21

Started in Gorham up the Moriah Carter Trail which we followed over Moriah to Middle and South Carter to Zeta Pass, then out 19 Mile Brook trail. The weather was perfect and there were great views the whole way. We saw both north bound and south bound thru hikers- good luck to those headed north! I lost a pair of sunglasses- Native Ripps in between Moriah and Middle Carter. If found, please PM. Thanks!

I was thinking of maybe doing a similar trip this weekend. Could you tell me what the trail conditions were?

The trail conditions were great- very little mud. There were some rocky sections but they were easy to get up and over. The 19 Mile Brook Trail is very easy and a nice way to end the day.
