Has anyone here done a Waternomee -> Jim -> Blue -> Mousilauke -> S Mousilauke circuit hike??

Thinking of doing something like this soon -- a traverse of the Asquam Ridge Trail, over both Mousilauke summits, then down Gorge Brook, looks like fun.

Anyone out there have any conditions info for the Ridge Trail??:)

You know -- you could time your trip so it coincides with Trish's and Alex's Saturday, August 29 Moosilauke ascent for their No. 48.

Yes indeed...and I think that could also potentially line up with a booze and vittles night at the Common Man on Friday the 28th...

If you go over to South Peak people usually come down the Carriage Road/Snapper, it makes for a more logical loop. I've done it in both directions, plus done the loop clockwise with the old Slide trail. Trails should all be in good shape, the Asquam Ridge isn't quite as well maintained as the others but should be fine.

Just did a Gorge Brook/Blue/Asquam Ridge loop a couple of weekends ago. The AR trail was in great shape - only really muddy section was close to the junction with the AT.

I loved the view into Jobildunk Ravine from the trail below the Blue summit. As well as the look at Moosilauke and East Peak from around that area. I was there in January '08 but I don't think the snowpack was enhancing my look too too much at that point. Nice trail.

Took Carraige Road and Snapper down then snowshoed the road to my car. A beautiful loop and a cool way to hike the Moose. Have fun.

So the trail goes directly over Waternomee, is a few yards off the top of Jim, but the true summit of Blue is a real whack, and not best done from AR but from BB?
