Last hike of the summer 
Started just S of powerlines on Matthews Rd where rough narrow line leads to small parking area. Follow multiple orange flagging ahead out of parking, R goes to powerline and L is return loop. Trail up to ridge is marked with dark blue blazes and orange flagging and somewhat wet - wonder if powerline path would be better and there are a couple of connector paths near high point on powerline. Trail is joined near summit by former ATV trail. I guess you should expect a lot of airplane noise on summit with aviation beacon.
Loop trail goes down ATV trail nearly to road, at sign circles on contour back to parking lot. There is also a conservation sign where ATV trail comes out on road but no parking lot.
