Webster - Jackson Trail. Mostly dry except for snow and ice monorail from the split rock to summit ledges (about the top third.) It won't hold long though, with a few more warm days. Traction and hiking poles were a help to me ----- but others may get by without them. I would like to have spent more time at the summit. Just the Jays and me, fantastic views and a warm breeze ---- gorgeous! But the thought of wallowing through 3 to 4 feet of wet mashed potato on the way down drove me off after a too-quick lunch. My concern was either unwarranted, or I planned it perfectly --- there were no problems on the return.
