Trail Conditions: easy to follow a bit of mud but dry by Adirondack standards
Special Equipment Required: none
Comments: Optional – provides one of the best views of the High Peaks from close by. (The view from the beginning of Loj Road off of Route 73 is great too) Single lane of traffic on Route 73 just north of Cascade Lakes, with Iron-man coming up, I’d expect that to be clear though.
Sure almost everyone who stays at the ADK Loj does Mt. Jo, it’s a shorter walk than Willard, the NH equivalent from Highland Center but the 730 feet of climbing is more concentrated.
