Oh, I forgot to mention. The weather was so incredible that day, that with Peak_Bgr's help we realized we could, from the summit of Moosilauke, clearly see Whiteface. In NY.

I measured it in my topo software - that's 105 miles of visibility.

Simply an amazing hike.
:)

And I was on Marcy and could see you guys. All of you guys! That champagne spray was awesome! Oh wait, that was from the celebration of a W46 below the summit ledge ... But, what a day!

Congratulations again, Seema! We could feel the vibe all the way over to New York. Maybe I'll make it next year when you wrap up your W48 ... or will that be this March!?!

ps. Great pics bobandgeri

Congratulations Seema!

I too wish I was there. Maybe we can finish our winter 4Ks together.
It sounds like you had a fabulous day, great weather and lots of good friends around.
You go girl!

CONGRATS SEEMA! I was up in the ADKs, but I did wave from the summit of Skylight. I also saw some crazy guy on top of Marcy waving like a lunatic, now I know that was HarryK.

Great job, Semma!

Way to go, Seema! Sounds as if you had a great trip and party! Would have enjoyed being there, but I was in CT at my son's house. Congratulations! :) :D :)

Congrats again!

Seema congratulations on completing the 48. I was glad to be there on such a great day and had a wonderful time meeting you all. Sherpa thanks for the guided tour down to “48” later in the day! And if anyone plans to follow Sherpa by car, stay close! :)

Not fair! Not fair! Not fair! I spent weeks looking at green/grey metal and you get awesome views like that off of Moosilauke! I haven't had a good view from the top of the moose yet. Ugh!

Looks like you all had a great time. I know Carmel and her friends had fun. Wish I could have been there. Congrats!

ps: I too remember some of your first posts...back when you didn't know a crampon from a piton. You've come a long way, baby!
