If you are looking for a short hike in New Hampshire and you want a stunning view of the Franconia and Kinsman Range and many other peaks, Mt Pemigewasset is a very good suggestion.
We take an 1H to reach the summit and 15 minutes to return to the car.

Excellent pictures Yvon! I like how big the Franconia Ridge mountains look from that perspective. I have driven by and hiked out Georgiana Falls close by but never went there. On my list of nice places now, thanks for sharing!;)

Conditions

Yvon:
Glad you enjoyed the hike.
Question were there a lot of blowdowns that need to be taken out.?
I assume you hiked from the Flume parking area.

I assume you hiked from the Flume parking area.

How do you know about blowdowns?

I think, if I remember right, there is 2 small 6" diam trees and a 12"diam acrooss the trail. There is 1 small and a 12" in the first 1/4 of the trail going up and the other small is about alfway. I hope it will help you.

Excellente photographie, Yvon!

You managed to capture an excellent photo at each of the key landmarks along the way to Mt. Pemigewasset. Anyone who has done that hike can certainly relate to each of your snapshots!

Thanks

Thanks. I will let the adoper know, when he gats back from Flotida. If he doesn't get it Trailwrights will when we work on it next time..
