Lots of mud but no more snow here. The vernal pools are full of mating frogs...the sound is audible from hundreds of yards away. Some trails are washed out a bit, but but easily hiked. Lots of deadfall, easily avoided.
Almost forgot: The frogs are in full mating session!! The croaking is loud and the frogs are all over the place around the vernal pools. I don't think that behavior lasts very long.
