Mt Potash overnight hike.

Its taken me 2 years to climb this mountain. Two times in winter I had to turn back because of bad conditions. We were driving trying to find camping spots and everything was full because of the holiday. We decided to camp off trail on Mt Potash. We climbed the Mountain and got to the top around 4:00. We headed down and cooked a meal in the parking lot on my stove.

While I was eating I kept hearing movement and wandered off to see what it was. I was shocked to see a few moose.

This is how I spent the night.

Fantastic....I hiked that Mt in the spring from Luzerne side and was amazing views. I could see the Corning Tower in a distance.

The moose are really plentiful in this area these days. Great pictures.
